Mitch graduated from the Cumberland School of Law in 1993. During law school, he was active in many organizations. He was a Director of the Trial Advocacy Program, an editor of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy and the Editor of the law school newspaper (The Pro Confesso). He excelled in the classroom, making the Dean’s List five out of the six law school semesters. He was awarded several leadership scholarships.
Since his graduation from law school, Mitch has represented individuals and small businesses in a variety of legal matters. He has obtained many multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for his clients.
Mitch is married to the former Sally Johnston of Athens, Alabama. They have two children, Mitchell and Harriet.
